Walk Weather Pro respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app uses, why it uses it, and how you can contact us about privacy requests. This policy applies to the Walk Weather Pro mobile app for Android and iOS.
Information the app may process

How information is used

Third-party services
Walk Weather Pro uses weather and climate data providers to deliver the app's core functionality. Location queries, selected cities, ZIP codes, or coordinates may be sent to weather services such as WeatherAPI.com and Open-Meteo so the app can retrieve forecasts, current conditions, alerts, air quality, location search matches, historical weather, and climate-normal data.

- Open-Meteo: used for historical weather and climate-normal comparisons when available.
- Your email provider: used only if you choose to send support, bug, or feature feedback by email.
Third-party services process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.
Local storage and retention
Walk Weather Pro stores selected location, preferences, cached forecasts, refresh timestamps, climate-normal cache, and safety acknowledgment data on your device. This local data remains on your device unless removed by clearing app data, uninstalling the app, changing settings, or replacing cached values through normal app use.
Feedback emails are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond to your request, maintain support records, improve the app, or meet legal requirements.
Data sharing and sale
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as needed to operate the app, provide weather and climate data, respond to support requests, comply with law, or protect the app and its users.
Data security
Network requests use HTTPS where supported by the service being contacted. Local app data is stored using the storage mechanisms provided by your device and the app platform. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International users and legal basis
If you use Walk Weather Pro from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. For users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process personal information only when we have a legal basis, including your consent, performance of the app service you request, legitimate interests such as app security and support, or compliance with legal obligations.
Children's privacy
Walk Weather Pro is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in the United States or under 16 in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Your choices
- You can deny location permission and search for a location manually.
- You can change or remove location permissions in your device settings.
- You can uninstall the app or clear app data to remove locally stored app data.
- You can choose whether to include diagnostics when sending feedback.
Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your use of Walk Weather Pro. By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Informational use only
Walk Weather Pro provides weather-based walking guidance for informational purposes only. The app does not provide medical advice, veterinary advice, emergency alerts, professional safety advice, or a guarantee that outdoor activity is safe.
Your responsibilities
- Use your own judgment before walking, exercising, or taking pets outside.
- Check current local conditions and official weather alerts.
- Follow guidance from local authorities and emergency services.
- Stop activity if you, another person, or a pet shows signs of distress.
- Use the app only as permitted by law and these Terms.
Weather estimates and availability
Forecasts, comfort scores, paw scores, walk windows, surface temperature estimates, air quality values, and alerts are based on available data and calculations. They may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, unavailable, or different from actual conditions at your exact location.
Free access, purchases, and subscriptions
Walk Weather Pro is currently provided without requiring a paid subscription for the core app features described in the app. We may add optional paid features, subscriptions, donations, or supporter plans in the future. If paid features are introduced, the price, renewal terms, cancellation process, and any trial terms will be shown before purchase and will be managed through the applicable app store or payment provider.
Location, notifications, and permissions
Some features require device permissions, such as location access. You may grant, deny, or revoke permissions through your device settings. Revoking a permission may limit or disable features that depend on that permission.
Intellectual property
Walk Weather Pro, including its name, app design, text, software, graphics, scoring logic, and related content, is owned by Walk Weather Pro or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the app or its content to you.
No misuse
You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt to reverse engineer protected portions of the app, use the app for unlawful purposes, or use app output as a substitute for emergency, medical, veterinary, or official weather information.
Third-party services
The app depends on third-party weather, climate, platform, email, and device services. We are not responsible for third-party service outages, data errors, policy changes, or the actions of third-party providers.
Changes to the app or Terms
We may update the app, change features, modify these Terms, or discontinue parts of the app. Continued use after updated Terms are made available means you accept the updated Terms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Walk Weather Pro and its owner are not liable for injuries, losses, damages, or decisions arising from use of the app, reliance on app recommendations, inaccurate or unavailable data, weather changes, local hazards, third-party services, or outdoor activity risks.

Estimated guidance
Recommendations, Comfort Scores, Paw Comfort Scores, walk windows, surface temperature estimates, and related alerts are estimates based on available forecast data. They may not reflect real-time local conditions, shaded areas, pavement temperature, personal health, pet health, fitness level, hydration, medications, age, breed, surface type, local hazards, official alerts, or other individual risk factors.
Pet and paw safety
Paw Comfort and surface temperature values are estimates only. Actual asphalt, concrete, and ground temperatures can vary significantly based on sun exposure, shade, surface color, material, wind, recent weather, and local conditions. Test pavement with your hand before walking your dog and choose grass or shaded paths when possible.
Not a medical, veterinary, or emergency tool
Walk Weather Pro is not a medical device, veterinary device, emergency alert system, or substitute for official weather information. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or veterinary condition. For personal health concerns, consult a qualified medical professional. For pet health concerns, consult a veterinarian. In emergencies, call local emergency services.
Data Rights and Deletion Requests
Most Walk Weather Pro data is stored locally on your device. You can delete local app data by clearing the app's storage in your device settings or uninstalling the app.
To request deletion of support emails or personal information you intentionally sent to us, email admin@lasthuman.net with the subject line "Walk Weather Pro Data Request." We may need information from you to identify the relevant support message.
General privacy requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a portable copy of personal information you provided to us. You may also have the right to object to certain processing or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, email us from the address associated with your request, and we may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding.
European, United Kingdom, and Swiss users
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have additional rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, Swiss data protection law, or similar laws. These may include the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to processing, request data portability, withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
California residents
California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. These may include the right to know the categories of personal information collected, the sources and purposes of that information, the categories of third parties to whom information is disclosed, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate personal information, the right to opt out of sale or sharing, the right to limit use of sensitive personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Response timing
We try to respond to verified privacy requests within 30 days. California requests may be handled within 45 days where that period applies. If more time is needed, we will let you know when required by law.
